I'm Dianne Ward, the creator of Soul Food Kitchen and the course I Quit Processed Food - 21 Days to a Lighter and Healthier You.
My journey began with a simple but powerful realization: the food we eat directly shapes how we feel, think, and live. I learned that quitting junk foods wasn't just about losing weight or looking better; it was about reclaiming my energy, health, and joy.
Like many women and busy mums, I struggled with the convenience trap of processed foods. I wanted to feel amazing, have the energy to keep up with life, and set an example for my family. But I found the diet industry overwhelming and unrealistic. So, I went back to basics—embracing whole, real foods and simplifying my approach to eating. The transformation I experienced wasn’t just physical but deeply emotional and empowering. It gave me clarity, confidence, and control over my health and habits.
This authentic journey inspired me to create Soul Food Kitchen, a space where real food meets real life. My recipes and resources are designed to make healthy eating simple, approachable, and enjoyable. I focus on food that nourishes the body and soul, helping women ditch the diet mindset and build lasting, healthy habits.
My program, I Quit Processed Food, reflects my personal approach. It’s not about restrictions but about empowerment—learning to choose foods that serve your body and discovering the joy of eating well. It’s about progress, not perfection, and making small, sustainable changes that lead to big results.
